Normal interest rate is 7% per annum for crop loans up to ₹3,00,000. Under Modified Interest Subvention Scheme (MISS), prompt repaying farmers receive a 3% prompt repayment incentive (PRI), bringing the effective net interest rate down to just 4% per annum. Collateral-free limit available up to ₹1,60,000. KCC valid for 5 years with annual review.

How to Apply

1. Obtain the one-page simplified KCC form from any commercial bank, Regional Rural Bank (RRB), Cooperative Bank branch, or download from https://agricoop.nic.in. 2. PM-KISAN beneficiaries can submit their PM-KISAN registration ID for automatic KYC and land-holding verification. 3. Specify crops grown, acreage, and credit requirements for Kharif/Rabi seasons. 4. Submit to the nearest bank branch along with land records. 5. The bank inspects records and issues the KCC Smart Card / RuPay KCC Debit Card within 14 days.
