Monthly income must not exceed ₹15,000 (₹1.80 lakh/year). Age at entry between 18 and 40 years. Must not be engaged in formal sector covered under EPFO/ESIC/NPS and must not be an income tax payer.

How to Apply

1. Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or register self online at the Maandhan portal (https://maandhan.in). 2. Enter Aadhaar number and mobile number; authenticate via OTP. 3. Enter bank savings account details (account number, IFSC) and set up auto-debit mandate. 4. System automatically calculates monthly contribution based on applicant date of birth. 5. Make initial contribution payment in cash at CSC or via net banking. 6. A unique Shram Yogi Pension Card (SPAN) is generated and handed to the beneficiary.
